LCOC btw
I’m a “casual gamer” who came to GW2 as a change of pace from Destiny 2. While most of my early time in Tyria was spent in the open world, running metas and making far too many characters than needed, I was invited to MUTE by a friend who wanted to push me into more difficult content. As someone who avoided the GW2 raiding community after hearing the typical MMO horror stories, I braved W1 during a MUTE training run with the mindset of “One raid to unlock the mastery track and I can avoid raids for the rest of my life.” But after getting to know the gamers within the guild and experiencing the joys of running instanced content with kind people, I found myself wanting to return again and again.
MUTE has given me the platform to gain confidence in diving head first into difficult content, from leading MUTE strike trainings and starting to command raids, to raid CM clears and Temple of Febe LCM completion. The guidance from guild members has helped improve my time within GW2, as well as given me the ability to help others who were just as confused as I was when I made my first toon. My goal is to be a positive guild member for others, a reflection of the positivity I received when I first joined MUTE.
I’m an avid toon enjoyer, creating lore and fashion for all of my characters. You won’t find me doing RP in Divinity’s Reach, but I can happily provide a TLDR of a specific character’s lore at a moments notice (Azalea has a lot… be warned). I lovingly perform ‘drip checks’ and am happy to help folks with fashion and dyes to create armor sets you are proud to slay your enemies in. I also cook all the food for the guild, so don’t insult sylvari or else you might find something special in your food the next time you come to a MUTE training run (Ana this is a joke don’t fire me please). :D
